Re: (Quest) Catacombs of Neathe (Part one) Nova and Leere

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum was glad to see Nova send his shadow swords to help, especially pinning down two of them at least till the swords vanished. With a sly smile Kerum stabbed both blades down into the knights to pin them as well the constant contact with the swords was not pleasant. At the same time his feet shifted into its true forms and the electricity formed.

"Brittle bones and gravity lets see how that mixes." Kerum stated as he dodged the knights sword and spun kicked the hand that held it the electricity under his feet and the force breaking its wrist. Grabbing him by the throat well the backbone he ran high into the air and then flipped letting go of the skeleton to increase its force as it slammed down into the ground shattering.

As Kerum landed he ripped his swords out of the now still skeletons shifting his eyes to the main fight. That was when he felt it, searing pain as a black greatsword ripped into his shoulder. his reflexes helped as he fell with the attack making it a moderate wound instead of a fatal one. Falling to the ground he rolled just in time to dodge another one. Blood was saturating the ground as he rolled horribly to his feet and started to run into the air away from danger. Blood dripping as he did so, panting he noticed he had dropped both his swords which were now on the ground by the skeletons. "Damnit." He cursed.

Nova dug his sword into the ground, using it as a anchor, stopping him from flying backwards. "Don't  count me outta the picture just yet" Nova said as he chuckled running back toward the Skeleton King, but before reaching him, he noticed Kerum get slashed from behind. "Kerum!" Nova yelled while dashing toward his location, jumping into the air and slashing the Skeleton Knight in half, then sliding to the ground, knocking both of Kerum blade's into the air, ignoring the shock just by tapping them up. .

"Catch up when your done with these Knights, i owe that skeleton King a little payback" Nova said with a smirk to Kerum, then using his last bit of energy to run back toward the skeleton king, but with his power surge fading away, the moment he got next to Leere and the Skeleton King.

Losing his focus on the Skeleton King to make sure Kerum and Nova were still able to fight, Leere was oblivious to the Skeleton King raising its sword up to strike him. He didn't notice it until the sword was almost at him. As he turned to face the king, he watched the dark sword crashing down toward him. With no time to truly react, Leere put his arms up to avoid a fatal blow. The Skeleton King's sword made contact with Leere's left forearm as well as his dagger he was holding in his right hand. The dark blade cut deep into Leere's left arm and clashed with the edge of his dagger in his right hand. By using his dagger to block as well as his arm, the blade didn't reach the bone in Leere's left arm, but it did do some good damage to it. Blood flowed from the wound, as the blade was still in Leere's forearm.


Leere pulled his arm away from the blade, and jumped backwards from the skeleton, creating some distance as he did. Needing a brief moment to gather his thoughts, and devise something, Leere took a deep breath and exhaled a dark cloud of smoke from his mouth. After the smoke completely surrounded him, he moved to the far back left corner of the cloud to catch his breath. Seems this numbskull's got some tricks up its sleeves. Leere thought to himself. He would have to deal with his wound while in the smoke before reengaging the skeleton.

Hovering above he saw all the commotion, but his vision was getting a little blurry. Luckily his armor activated and blue fire rippled over his body. The pain in his shoulder subsided, the wound still there though which meant it must have been deep. Testing it out he found he could move it but with some pain. A scab had formed, but it was a very fresh one at that.

Running back down he caught his swords that Nova had kicked up to him and spun them until they formed into his dualblade. "I think we need to kill the king now." Kerum stated landing next to Nova and smashing the skeleton cut in halves head.

(OOC: sorry for the random typing sometimes, i try to reply when working, so i kinda rush things >.< i didn't know what to put but i did edit the healing part out Kerum and i'll try to limit myself, i know i get get sloppy when i rush)


"I agree, we need to put an end to him now" Nova replied while making his way now toward the Skeleton King, soon noticing his Kunai's was still lodged into the knee of the King, perfect, Nova thought to himself, trying to think of a plan, as how he could get close to the Skeleton King  once again, he glances at Leere fall back inside of his smoke, Nova dashed behind the smoke barely catching sight of Leere, but barely figuring out his location and making an attack across his back with his Rapier of healing, (Being able to connect his attack would cause a full healing effect on Leere for any wounds he had on him). "Hope that arm feels better now, we need to put an end to him right now" Nova said while trying to gain back his strength to make a decent attack toward the King.

As Leere's smoke dispersed around him, he was standing there with a bloody ripped part of his coat tied around his arm where his wound was. Nova's blade made contact with Leere, healing his wound. The bloody coat was from before the wound was healed, in an attempt to stop the bleeding. Leere does not care how his wound was healed, just ready to fight without his injury getting in the way. "Now then. It appears that I'll have to repay you for that wound, won't I, you sack of bones?" Leere's grip on his Empty Razor tightened. It was time to get serious in the fight.

Leere then looked among Nova and Kerum. "So which one of us will be getting the first attack?" He then crouched down, expecting one of the other two rush in, that way he could get a feel for the skeleton's power by watching it fight the other members of his group. "No need to hold back anymore."

Spinning his dualblade around he shrugged as he charged in, all of his powers were now spent for probably the remainder of the fight as he ducked under a horizontal slash from the great sword and made a few quick circular slashes watching electricity ripple through the skeletons body. However to Kerum's surprise the sword was already on it's way down as the king was wielding it like it was a one handed sword. Bringing up his sword to block it worked but it also pulled his blade down until it touched the ground and a quick kick sent Kerum flying into the distance. The king was strong especially for not having muscles.

Nova had now fully recovered from the shock of using his skill and started his own attack. Running toward the Skeleton King, Nova leaped into the air, making it look like he was doing the same move last time he got flung back, predicting the Skeleton's movements, Nova evaded the strike with his sword and countered with a kick toward his Kunai that was lodged into his knee. Forcing the throwing knife into it's knee cap, using this to his advantage for slowing it down. Enraged the Skeleton King roared at Nova activating its shadow strike and charging toward Nova. "Well that seemed to piss him off" Nova chuckled while trying not to get hit by its blade.

{OCC: skipping Leere for now since he has been inactive for such along time.}

Skidding on the ground he finally rolled into a crouch and watched as Nova seemed to make him mad. The charge was slower now but that did not mean he was slow by any means. Panting Kerum wiped so sweat from his face and then snapped his swords in half and charged forward, now behind the king as it pursued Nova. Launching one bolt from a blade directly at the lodged Kunai and then waited to see how he responded before he launched another one. Hopefully they could take this guy down pretty quickly they all needed rest.

Nova was barely able to dodge the Skeleton's blade, then soon he noticed Kerum's attack toward the Skeleton, dropping it to his knees. "Alright perfect chance, lets end this" Nova said while charging toward the Skeleton king, he threw himsef upward, leaping with his sword and using gravity as his base, he slashed through the Skeleton's arm, disarming it from its greatsword. "Kerum! End it!" He yelled while hitting the ground and rolling away from the force of his attack.

Without his weapon the skeleton seemed less threatening as Kerum jumped into the air and spun his blades striking several times as he spun each one letting out a very nasty zap as he landed panting. The sound of a large crash was all that signified that the group had one. Sheathing his blades he quickly well as quickly as he could went over to the tower to check on the guards. Luckily the ones who were fighting the skeletons before they decided we were the bigger threat had already carried the wounded into the tower.

Nova slowly started to get up as he watch Kerum deal with the Skeleton, as he followed him and rushed over to the tower to check on the guards. "They are injured, but they'll survive" Nova said while looking at Kerum and turning around to notice they were close to the entrance of the Catacombs. "I guess we should move on and enter the Catacomb, huh?"
