Demonic Activity (Open)

[Kerum Kosha]

Kiru city, it was supposed to be the place to go especially if you wanted to find work. However, for some reason Kerum kept avoiding it his entire life never once actually going there. Now was that time as he walked through the forest enjoying the beautiful lush trees forever stuck in Autumn. It had been a interesting journey to this place. Most of the time Kerum hid from others as most tended to attack demons first ask questions later.

It was still a ways till he would reach the city, and the sun was starting to dip down as Kerum started to set up a makeshift camp. He wanted to get there in the daylight, so he could take it all in and not have to wander around searching for a place to stay at night. After he set his camp up Kerum pulled out his swords and snapped them together the sound of a lightning strike occurring at the same time.

Walking to a small clearing it started to practice with the dual blade, letting his body zone out and just focus on the fluid motions. He was skilled but no matter how good you were you could always get better.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden had been sitting near the gates of the city as the sun started to dip. He got up and started to walk inside, only to hear the sound of lightning not too far away. "It is clear weather, so the lightning must have been artificial". He thought to himself. He started to walk in the direction that the noise had come from.

After walking for a bit. He heard smaller zips of lightning. He crouched down and looked at whatever was making the noise. It seemed to be a man, holding lightning?!? Eden stepped forewards into the clearing. "Hello" Eden said, from behind the mans back

[Kerum Kosha]

The sound of a voice brought him out of his zone as he snapped the blade in half and spun, thrusting one of them forward as a bolt of lightning slammed into a tree very close to the new person. It splintered the bark of the tree and caused it to blacken. "It is not nice or safe to sneak up on people." Kerum stated calmly as he held both of the swords loosely in his hands.

He couldn't tell if the man was a enemy or not, but so far in this place most leaned towards enemy.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden could tell this man didn't work too well with people. "Hmm" Eden thought to himself. The man also looked very stressed, or something. Eden thought for a moment "I challange you to a duel, my skills are getting rusty, I need to make it not so" He said, sternly, determined to win

[Kerum Kosha]

His demon arrogance started to take over, it was a flaw of the demon's always thinking they are superior to all others. Plus this man just looked like a human how dangerous could he really be. "Sure why not." Kerum stated as he spun his blades around in his hands and then slammed them together the sound of a lightning strike echoing through the forest again.

Now it was time to see if he really could hold his own in this world. His eyes started to observe everything waiting on the man to pull out whatever weapon it was that he had.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden took a deep breath, and drew his weapon, Divine Blade. He held it in two hands. and swung it onto his shoulder "Let's do this" Eden announced. He flew foreward and swung his sword for the man's chest...

[Kerum Kosha]

The speed in which this man came at him was outstanding, it gave him very little time to react but he still could.  Kerum swung hard to the left using both hands to knock the blade from its trajectory towards his chest. Electricity rippled through his blade and into the others sword.  As his right hand came up from the motion he pulled the blades apart and swung his right sword which was pointing downwards towards the man's face.  The two motions were fast happening almost at the same time.

[Aerin Vae]

Time seemed to slow down as the blades came towards his face "Clypeus" he yelled, this was the power the angel lords had given him, it gave him the strength of the lord to defend him or his allys. Time seemed to become normal again. As the blades hit his face, they bounced off his clypeus shield. He then continued to stab his sword upwards, aiming for the man's chest.

[Kerum Kosha]

He was momentarily stunned as his sword was flung away from the man's face sending him stumbling back which in turn helped safe his life as the man's blade came up and nicked his left shoulder. Taking a few more quick hops back Kerum glared at the man his two swords flipping back into the upright position as he stood there and watched the man. Well that shield will make it next to impossible to hurt this man... Kerum thought to himself. It was time he needed to figure out the extend of this shield.

[Aerin Vae]

As Kerum rolled away, Eden said "Clypeus" switching off his shield. He took a deep breath, to try regain his small bit of lost energy. "This is gonna be though" he though to himself. He held his sword diagonally, getting ready to defend against an attack. "Come on then" He shouted over to the man

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum smiled, especially seeing that the man released his shield. Not to mention the toll it looked to take on him. Charging forward Kerum brought up his sword that still had a lightning bolt charge and fired it off towards the man. His body was ready to shift towards him depending on which direction his moved and to attack with a X slash towards the man.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden saw the attack coming. "Defense" he yelled. His sword changed into a shield, as well as one of the four crystals shattering. He blocked Kerum's attack, and charged foreward, bashing him backwards by hitting his shield against his chest. He grined at Kerum

[Kerum Kosha]

"So all you got is shield after shield huh." Kerum stated as he slid to a stop from the shield attack. This guy seemed to have an almost godlike defense. Small stinging could be felt on his chest, but it was not damaging but more just pain. "Holy power huh?" Kerum stated as he charged forward again slashing wildly at the shield with both swords. Each time they hit electricity sparked and traveled through the shield.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden was starting to feel the small jolts of electricity running through his shield. He gasped pain filling his arms. He almost dropped his shield. But he knew that if that happened, he'd lost. He felt the shields power weaken as Kerum continued to slash. He bashed him backwards. His shield could only take a few more hits.

[Kerum Kosha]

That same searing pain could be felt as Kerum was once again send backwards by the shield. "So you use holy powers..." Kerum stated staring at him. This time he would let the man show him what he was capable offensively. From what he could tell he was just plain defensive which kept you alive. "Come at me, show me what you can really do." Kerum taunted as he flipped his left sword upside down again, so it faced the ground.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden knew he couldn't keep going like this "Attack" He said, unwillingly. His shield changed back to a sword. "Mrof trever" He roared. He drops his sword, and floats up. He then roars with pain, his wings finally coming into view, changing from beautiful pristine white, to complete black. Eden roared with pain "AHHHHH" he falls to the ground, on his two knees, his head bowed. He looks up, his bright blue and gold eyes, changing to pure evil red. "Let's end this" he says, demonically, his voice totally different. "Venomous Touch" he states. Targeting Kerum. He smiles and laughs hysterically. He flys up, and hoists his sword onto his shoulder, now gone from blue to red.

[Kerum Kosha]

The transformation was rather impressive, the entire air around the guy got darker, more sinister. Then he used a new power and the pain hit him immediately as he fell to his knees and coughed up some blood. "Poison huh." Kerum muttered to himself as he stood up and smirked at him. "Well we shall end it." Kerum stated. He knew that now it was a battle against time itself.

Kerum's feet were in-cased in electricity as his demonic feet appeared electricity underneath them. Charging with all his new speed he took to the sky letting loose another flurry of attacks towards the Angel.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden dodged sideways, but he still got hit by one of the flurry attacks. He fell to the ground, but before hitting it, he extended his wings, flying back up to Kerum's level. "Poison flames" whispers Eden. He holds his palm up to his mouth and blows. Purple smoke billows from his mouth and heads straight for Kerum, taking advantage of him being close. This mist makes anyone it touches feel the pain of fire rolling through their veins, it also has a fast damaging poison effect. Eden charges toward Kerum, swinging his blade for his chest.

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum forgot how fast Angel's were, and the hits felt light when the did make contact.  Glaring he turned to take chase when he saw him coming back up to him and blow something else out.  His body faded to black as he slipped out of this dimension and back into the demonic one as the poison flowed past him and out of range.  The sword also phased right through his shadow body.  

Kerum dashed away still in this form to get further away from the poison as he was half way to the ground.

[Aerin Vae]

"Hahah" Laughed Eden "Scared!" He stated. He flew up higher and held his sword straight up. He turn flew upside down and flew down very fast. He also started spinning, turning him into something like a drill. As he flew towards Kerum, his sword spinning faster that the wind. He knew Kerum would try dodge "Defense" he yelled, switching his shield to defence formation. He then let it go and stood on it's flat inside. It was flying straight on top of Kerum, there was no way he could dodge this!!

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum did not try to dodge the move he charged up as fast as he could as well hoping to skim past Eden and slice him letting both speeds increase the damage. However when the angel shifted his sword into the shield, he was momentarily blinded by the shattered crystals the flew out from the spin and was hit hard by the shield flying into the ground with great force.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden flys off Kerum, smiling. "Morf trever" Eden announces. He falls to the ground and his wings change back to clear white, and his eyes back to blue and gold. "That was fun" He says cheerfully, back to his guardian form. "I guess your time is up either way, So, I win, right?"

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum got up brushing off dirt and debris as his entire body glowed brilliant blue as blue fires covered is body before fading the armor and his body being healed as he had only suffered minor wounds in the dual. "Yes you win, now could you take care of this poison." Kerum stated as she sheathed his lightning swords. It was true that his power to flight was now gone but he could have continued to fight, but being unable to fly would have made it complicated.

[Aerin Vae]

Eden looked at him and knew what he was thinking, that he could still win "Nononono," says Eden, "You would've lost either way. My poison would have killed you, but that's asides the point, Anjelic Rejuvination" They were both surrounded in a brilliant light, healing Kerum of ALL wounds and taking away all negative feelings he had. Eden gasped a small bit, and took a few deep breaths. "There ya go" Eden says smiling. "So, what were you doing out here?"

[Kerum Kosha]

Kerum just laughed, it was true but he wasn't going to admit that it worried him. Honestly death did not really scare him nearly as much as it used to. "I was just training before bed, didn't want to get to town until morning." Kerum stated as he walked back to where his stuff was and pulled out a canteen and took several long swigs of it.
