Lvl1 Quest: Swamp Exploration

Today was the day, is all that Nova could think about while walking to the job board, he was excited for his first quest in awhile. He was suppose to meet two other people, while going out on this quest, although were gonna be meeting Dalton later in our adventure, he thought for a second while continuously walking, as Nova gets to the the location they were suppose to meet with one hand on his bag he spots Rose, "awesome, do you have everything you need for this quest? We will have to meet up our other member as we venture out toward the Swamp. "

[Rose florance]

I woke up from my house next to the tavern getting ready to start on my quest. I grabbed some supplies and 4 arrows made last night as I accidently forgot my map I left the house. I walked around the town center asking people if they saw noxas or the other guy. I spotted them after a hour running up to them exhausted after searching. I heard what noxas said as I nodded my head. "Yes I am and I'm so nervous it isn't funny."

Nova looked upon Rose, as he noticed she was a bit nervous, "well i'm pretty nervous myself, but although. i do believe this could lead to a fun adventure, i'll watch your back as long as you look out for mine" he spouts without hesitating. "By the way, what do u specialize in?"

[Rose florance]

"I specialize in long range fighting s-so please be infront". went with noxa as I looked down my bow around my right shoulder as I let him finish his drink. "I hope everyone comes and I do wish this adventure is fun but its gonna smell awful".

As Nova threw his bottle of water into the trash, he turned to face Rose, "long range huh, thats pretty good to hear, i promise not to stray far from you, you can count on me i wouldn't let anything happen to you, its just how i am" he says to Rose with a smile. He then looks down, "i'm more of the fighter type" while placing his hand onto his sword, "so if by any chance i slip up and in a bad predicament, i'll be counting on you." Then started walking forward toward the exit of the city.

[Rose florance]

I worried as I looked at nova with concern. "Hey nova I'll try to fight but I'm bad at close combat fighting". I said blushing a bit as I looked down. "S-So if anything gets past you I-I'll try to keep you alive".

"That's alright, i'll do all the close range fighting and leave the range attacks to you, i'll make sure to keep them away from you, i give you my word."
Nova continued walking forward but couldn't help being on guard now, after saying all those things.
"well i guess its time to complete this quest, a 3-day report of exploring the swamps shouldn't be that bad, i brought enough supplies to last 3-days and then some just in case"

[Dalton White]

"Sorry for being late you guys haha scouting took longer than i thought. Seems like it is gonna be a rough time are yall ready?"

[Rose florance]

I walked to dalton smacking him lightly not enough to deal damage "Your Late" I said to dalton. I looked at nova nodding "I made sure to stock up the day before and 3 days in this nasty swamp is just gross".

[Dalton White]

"always good to be stocked yall but just remember we are gonna have to keep moving so don't make it to heavy."

[Rose florance]

"I brought some potions umm food and a tent". I looked around catching up to nova as I read the upright sign. "Wasn't this sign supposed to be crooked?" I said curiously.

[Dalton White]

"yeah it is supposed to be, hmmm seems maybe someone was tampering with it, hmmm" Stareing at the sign i fix is and smile at my work.

[Rose florance]

I looked on ahead making sure we can walk in without being attacked immeadately. "I hate swamps its my least favorite place to go" I said with a disgusted look. I checked my gear one more time making sure I got what I need.

[Dalton White]

"eh just make sure that you don't miss step and step in one of the few holes, also you wont have to worry about getting attacked we got ya." I say this while i load my rifle and magnum. I also look towards Nova just thinking what our next move is.

[Rose florance]

"Well whatever the case it seems that we have 2 long range fighters and 1 close combat character". "I suggest letting him go first while we back him up". I sat on a near by rock waiting for nova to come so we can venture forward with our quest.

[Dalton White]

"well i mean if you can cover both of use i can go in their with my pistol and help him out if need be." quick draws pistol and starts examining it. "this is my child though haha. its light weight and destructive, just the way it should be."

[Rose florance]

I chuckled "I'll make sure to keep you two covered with my arrows". I looked around spotting nova from a distance. "Shall we start our adventure"?

Walking back up toward Rose and Dalton, "the Swamp itself just looks murky and filled with a dreaded smell everywhere, but i did find a small area where we can cross the Swamp without being knee deep." Then started walking toward his bag, threw it over his shoulder, "alright guys lets start this adventure.

[Dalton White]

"yay adventure time lol jkjk lets get going because im gonna hate to sit here anymore so lets get going and get ready for a fight" Walking towards the entrance

[Rose florance]

I walked behind the 2 as I followed them into the swamp looking around its dark woods and mud. "ugh the sooner we get done with this the better". I stood there with my bow in hand.

Entering the swamp, all i could think of was the scent of rotting soil, and this sensation of that i'm being watched. Keeping himself on guard, Nova leaves his hand place on the hilt of his blade.
"Look over there, that is the area which will help us cross this murky swamp, without to much strain."

[Rose florance]

I walked with nova with my bow in hand and another hand covering my nose from the smell. "Lets go over there nova" I said pointing deeper into the swamp. I see a shadowy figure jump out of the bushes when we were attacked by.

Nova looks at his surrounding area and sees the shadowy figures but senses there not the only two enemys, one is not far from them, he turns to Rose, "we gotta get on a solid piece of land now, stay close to me" started moving to the inland part of the swamp. There he encountered the monsters.

I noticed the Skeleton King popping out of the bushes with the skeleton Warrior coming out as well. I shot 2 arrows at the warrior in hopes it hits him.
