Deekin the Kobald Bard
"Twas once a kobald named Deekin,
Whom was quite good at sneakin.
Because he was a bard
He had to try very hard
To avoid being turned into lard,
By the dragon known as Thonarybald."
Deekin was a clever little kobald, for to avoid being killed learned how to sing and dance. Eventually however, when his dragon master was killed by a questing group of adventurers, he was set free. With his newly found freedom and without a master, he chose to follow and write the story of the adventurer that saved him.Whom was quite good at sneakin.

To avoid being turned into lard,
By the dragon known as Thonarybald."
The adventurer eventually came into trouble with a group of dragons that had come to seek vengeance. Little Deekin proved his worth that day however when he went right up to one of the dragons, and struck at it with furious magic blasts. This event was thought to have been a turning point in the battle against the dragons, and it was all little Deekin that had done it. With the dragons slain by the party and the loot sold off, they threw a party for Deekin. Eventually however the party broke up and Deekin decided to go out to learn more songs and stories of the world.
Deekin throughout his adventures traveled through many places, great deserts, and battling many golems. He collected many fascinating pieces of armor and weapons, one was even a greatsword that was just the severed blade arm of a golem. He eventually got tired and decided to sit down and take out all his loot, and people started to walk up and offer him money for various loot. So began Deekin's exploits of being a merchant, he even moved to a castle of an up and coming lord that was to be the beacon of hope in defeating the dragons once and for all. He left one day to start his own settlement however, a place for kobalds and the other races to interact peacefully. When he died, he was given a heroes funeral for his heroic exploits at the many battles against numerous threats that he was a part of.
Deekin was also one of the oldest sources of 'the Gnome Song' though he says that he was not the original creator.
"I like gnomes,
So dumb and fat,
Fat and dumb
In burrows like moles
Shoot 'em full of arrows
Put 'em on a stick
That's why I like gnomes."
