Mikone the Lonely Demon

Background/History: Being a demon can be difficult growing up. This is a lesson Mikone learned early on, being one of the most monstrous looking ones. He never new his parents, instead growing up on the streets as a beggar. But who would ever help a demon? He instead found scorn from those around him, and he only survived on the food people threw in the garbage and that which they would throw at him so he would leave. As he grew older however, he required more food to eat, and as such, took to wandering the outskirts around the city. Mikone eventually ran into an old man whom had being a former adventurer, who decided to take in the poor young demon. A few years passed, and Mikone had truly grown into a more intimidating form after having proper nourishment. The old man died however, finally succumbing to his old age, and left a gift to the demon, a large set of platemail, and two tower shields. Taking these gifts, Mikone trained himself to become a mercenary, and perhaps eventually find someone that cared about it. Eventually, he found something close to it, a small abandoned kitten left in a box. Taking pity on the small creature, Mikone brought it back to health, much as the old man had done for him, and the two became inseparable.
Personality: While he had a rough time as a kid, he tried to live that part of his life again when he met that old man. Mikone has a childish personality, and while not entirely opposed to conflict, would rather minimize it. He only cares for a few things however, one of which being the cat he had rescued, and lovingly named Luna for her pure black fur. When he is in a group, he will try to do what he can to protect them, because he always hopes they might become the friends, that he never had a chance to make.
