Re: Dinner Date

[Annabelle]

Annabelle greeted Kurei with a warm smile. 

"Hey! You're back! Welcome!"


Annabelle notices Kurei holding a blanket.


"Oh is that a blanket? C-could i possibly use it? I'm rather cold still. Though the fire is really doing wonders for me."

[Admin]

Kurei hands Annabelle the blanket and puts his arms behind his head like a pillow. He twists and turns to one side looking away from the fire, exposing his back to Annabelle.
"Take it, i don't really get cold anyway."
He frowned and just felt the coldness on the inside. Perhaps he was coming down with a cold.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle detects something off about Kurei.

"Hey...are you okay?" She asks tenderly. 

"What's wrong? Don't you wanna dry off? I bet you'll get mighty uncomfortable laying down all the way over there. Come closer!" 


Annabelle motions for Kurei to move closer to her and opens up the blanket so that he can get under it with her.

[Admin]

He rolled himself over and quickly got under the blanket, Shivering.  His teeth chattered as he began to hold Annabelle
"I'm f-freezing here.. . Not just COLD, I'm dying!" 

He buried his head down and kept rubbing his arms together trying to get warm.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle's concern only grew from there.


"Dying? Kurei! Tell me you're not serious! What are you talking about!?"

Annabelle held Kurei and tried frantically to rub warmth back into him. She held him close hoping that her body's heat would maybe warm him up a bit more. She did this over and over again while starting to tear up a bit.

[Admin]

"No no no, i'm fine, just when i run low on energy I begin to freeze dramatically. I'm not really dying."

He laughed awkwardly and tried to calm her down. He had just been exhausted from prolonging several abilities during his date.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle looked around in a panic. She cautiously left Kurei's side for a moment but made sure he remained entirely under the blanket. She got on her hands and knees looking for her dress that she had laid out. When she found it she took her belt and searched all over for the correct potion potion to give Kurei. Finally she spotted the vial with the Blue liquid. It was an Energy Potion.

"Here Kurei! Quick! Drink this! It will make you feel better!"

Annabelle rushes over to Kurei's side and grabs Kurei's hand, gently placing the potion and wrapping his fingers around it so he's holding it.

[Admin]

Holding the potion in his hand, he drank the potion, gulping down all its contents instantly. A few moments later you could see the exhaustion on his face vanish. He stretched fully, arching his back and groaning.

"That really did the trick, i feel better already. So. . Where were we ?" 

he said as he laid back, facing up. He held Annabelle by her waist and pulled her on top of him,staring down at her, face to face.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle blushed a deep red color.

"Oh, Kurei.." She breathed.

Annabelle then leaned in and they began to kiss, her body relaxed as she laid on top of Kurei. They kissed for what seemed to be a very long time, running their fingers through each others hair and touching each others faces. There were times where they rolled onto their sides or when Kurei was completely hovered over her. Kurei grabbed Annabelle every-which way. Their hot breaths and the fire place was causing them to sweat but despite it all, it didn't seem they would slow down anytime soon. 

The scene fades to black and you can guess what happened next. Suddenly it is the next day. The Sunlight comes in and bathes the room with light. The roaring fire from the night before is reduced to just embers and our lovers are still asleep in each others arms. Suddenly Annabelle wakes up.

Annabelle looks up and see's Kurei is still asleep. He is so beautiful to her. His sleeping face seems so gentle it was truly all Annabelle ever wanted in the world. She is almost surprised that he is still here. A part of her thought that he'd leave before she'd had a chance to wake up. Another part of her imagined that this was all a sweet dream she'd been having, but fortunately everything was oh-so real. It was a pleasant surprise seeing him here and knowing she had slept in his arms all night. But now there are so many questions that need answers. 

What ARE we? Annabelle thought. Her heart beat fast every time she was around or even thought about Kurei and after tonight, she felt, in her heart, that she could not easily let go. Her place felt right with him, but did he feel the same? Her thoughts were interrupted when she suddenly felt Kurei shifting. He's awake!

[Admin]

Opening his eyes he's greeted by a pleasant sight, to see Annabelle still beside him and looking directly at him. 
"It's a bit odd don't you think, to be starting at someone as they're asleep."  
he said teasingly to her, moving his legs around to stretch and pulling her hand to his lips, giving them a kiss.

"Thank you for staying and not wandering off. "

[Annabelle]

Annabelle smiled sheepishly. She snuggled up next to Kurei, placing her head on his chest.


"Where would I go?" she responded.

"I'd never leave you like that Kurei....Promise."


She gave him a hug while still laying on his chest, with a gentle squeeze at the end. There were so many questions she had for Kurei, so many things so discuss, but maybe now wasn't the right time as she didn't want to ruin the moment by bombarding Kurei with questions that might have sour answers. She rather relish in the sweet nectar of now.

[Admin]

Kurei remained laid down with her on his chest. He took a deep breathe and breathed in her scent, only thinking of how well it suited her. It made him feel relaxed knowing that she was beside him. 

"Would you like to stay here a little while before leaving? I'd prefer to leave later when the sun has died down or a big cloud passes by."

He looked down at her, hoping she would say yes. And perhaps make some breakfast as his stomach growled

[Annabelle]

Annabelle graciously agreed. She didn't want this perfect day to end either. 

"I don't mind staying. Not one bit." she smiles.

Annabelle notices Kurei's tummy is rumbling. 

"Oh Kurei! You're hungry! Is there anything to eat around here?" Annabelle asks while placing her hand on Kurei's belly and rubbing it around in circular motions.

[Admin]

Kurei smiles as he very much likes his belly being rubbed by other people. After hearing her ask if hes hungry he motions over to the next room.

"Right over there, there's a kitchen. It's bound to have something."

He wrapped his arm around her waist to hold her there a bit longer, to keep rubbing his stomach. Purring soundly in delight.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle happily rubbed Kurei's belly for a little while longer, but as soon as his tummy grumbled again she knew it was time to get up and head to the kitchen to look for anything that could be edible. Annabelle rummaged around for a bit in the cabinets and pantry and the fridge. 


"There's eggs and some bread! I could make Scrambled Eggs and Toast! Does that sound good to you Kurei? I could keep looking if you rather have something else..."

[Admin]

As she stopped he pouted briefly, hoping for more but knowing that his hunger wouldn't subside until he had some food. He watched Annabelle as she left and thought that this would be the life he wanted, with her. 

"Now to see if she could cook." he whispered to himself.


She told him what his options were and he happily agreed.
"I'll have my eggs with a bit of pepper if you don't mind. Perhaps any bacon with a cup of coffee. Black or Milk, i don't really care."

[Annabelle]

Annabelle looked around some more.

"You're in luck! There's some uncooked bacon here and coffee grinds. Oh! And there's also milk in the fridge so I'll get right on that Kay?" Annabelle smiled and titled her head to the side before grabbing all her ingredients and getting to work. 

She started with the bacon because that took the longest, then as it sizzled on an oil coated pan that she found in one of the cabinets, she went on to beat the eggs. She added the pepper Kurei requested and a pinch of salt. Then as her secrete ingredient she added a bit of milk. When the eggs were nice and smooth she then added them to another pan that contained a light amount of oil and stirred them while also flipping over the bacon. After a bit she put them both on low temperature and put the bread in a toaster she had found and then made coffee with the grinds and milk and some sugar. Soon everything was ready. She found plates and brought all that she had made over on a tray to Kurei in bed.

[Admin]

As he laid there he could hear all the tools she was using in the kitchen.  He could smell the aroma of fried eggs and bacon filling the living room air. The sound of each sizzle on top of the pan. It certainly smelled good,he felt confidant in her skills by merely that alone without even tasting it.
As she brought to him his tray of food, he noticed that she hadn't made any for herself so he did as any kind gentleman would do, he sat up prim and proper first and offered her the first bite into the egg that she had made. 

"Please, i'll gladly take a bite but first you need to eat as well. I don't mind sharing if it's you i'm sharing with. This brings us closer together so I am already in your debt for making me this meal, thank you Annabelle."

[Annabelle]

Annabelle looked down and blushed. She was overjoyed that Kurei had thought about her and offered her the first bite. And also even more happy that he was willing to share it with her and only her. It made her feel important for a second. 


"It was no big deal...I enjoy doing things for you..Kurei" Annabelle looked up. She took a fork and dug into a small portion of scrambled eggs. She chewed it then swallowed.

"Its good Kurei...you should have some!" Annabelle smiled. 

"Here!" She took some eggs with the same fork and offered to feed it to Kurei.

[Admin]

Kurei smiled and winked at her as he took his turn to eat. As he ate it he took a small piece of bacon and toast as well, his mouth was nearly full but he had room to chew. He then washed it down with some coffee and made a sigh of relief.

"This is quite some service Annabelle, perhaps you should open up your own restaurant. The 'Medieval Mutton' could be a great name for it."   

He smiled at her and took her hand with the fork, guiding it towards the plate for her turn to have a taste.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle giggled. 


"Surely it can't be that good. You're too kind to me Kurei. This food is sub par, maybe you're just very hungry. Everything tastes good when you're hungry." 


Annabelle let Kurei guide her to the plate. There she got some more eggs, a piece of bacon and a bit of toast. Yummy Wummy Toast! Annabelle thought.

[Admin]

Kurei pulled her closer to his side and kisses her neck as she was eating, doing more so than once, holding her gently and smiling.

"It's truthfully good, and i'd love to see nothing more than for you to rise. It would be a crime to keep all of your culinary talents to myself, and I wouldn't want to serve a life-sentence" he said jokingly

"But I would want for you to give it a try. If I could pull my money with you in an attempt to get a business started"

He kisses her lips after she swallowed, rubbing the back of her head and staring into her eyes.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle liked Kurei's warmth. Whenever he was near her, her heart started to pump faster. His kisses felt warm and delightful. They tickled yet felt very pleasing. Annabelle giggled softly at Kurei's jokes.


"If I have time between fighting monsters, and healing the wounded or sickly then maybe I'll look into it."


Annabelle got chills as Kurei rubber the back of her head it felt very pleasurable. She stared back into his eyes as well, wondering what it is he sees.

[Admin]

Kurei doted on with Annabelle, rocking her gently in his arms, swaying slowly side to side and relaxing himself.

"Just leave the fighting to me and you won't have to deal with any sort of monsters. I will never have anyone hurt on my watch either so that I can have you all to myself instead of mending others."

He rubbed the back of her head once more, and reeled her in for a kiss, this time it was meant to last longer than a simple pop-kiss.

[Annabelle]

Annabelle accepted the kiss, though she wasn't too lean on leaving her combat lifestyle behind. She put her hand on his cheek and they kissed for some time before Annabelle broke it off.


"You really should finish eating though. Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. How will you replenish all the enengy you lost last night if you don't eat?" 

Annabelle blushed remembering last night.
