He stares intently into the ice, watching his reflection. His face is vacant and emotionless as he sighs to himself...

Asea had never experienced what it was truly like to be... Cold. He always wanted to visit the lake and he finally got around to it. The ice made his mood depressing, almost solemn. The looks on his face matched that of the smell in the air, dry, cold and dreary. To the North was nothing but frozen tundra same to his east south and west. Seeing this gave him almost no hope to find anything of interest. He stopped at a frozen river he had only heard legends of to relax after his journey of many miles. He sat seclusive not to draw attention from any predators as he soon dosed off for a nap. He was awoken by the sound of a lone voice carrying over the Lake. Not to draw to much attention but still get closer he began to cross the lake by crawling for the water was so frozen this was an easy task enough.

Christian had never known many people. Well, as far as he could recall. He had always been alone. That is, until he he saw that boy. He appeared to be an elf. And he certainly did not appear to be familiar with the weather. He quickly grew worried about the elf and called to him "Are you okay over there?"

Asea realizing he had been seen quickly thought to reply but couldnt muster the words to say. It was as if he knew he wanted to talk but didnt know how. Could this have been a side effect of being cold? He wouldnt have known either way. He thought and thought and finally knew what to say. "Im abit stuck here friend, mind lending me a hand? Ive never been here before and I wandered onto the lake once I saw you... didnt expect it to be quite soooo... slippery"

Christian realized that this stranger needed his help and quickly from judging his condition.

"Give me a moment! I am on my way!"

He spread his dark wings and soared over to where the boy was stranded. Soaring above the elf he extended his arm and called.

"Give me your hand! I can help you"

Reluctantly, Asea reach his arm out and grabbed hold of the angel's hand. As he was flown to safety Asea judged whether or not to trust the angel. He contimplated with it and decided not to decide at the moment that only time will tell.

As Christian flew the elf to the edge of the river towards his den he had formed with his magic, he thought about his actions. He didn't ever think of himself as a caring person. Why did he care about if the elf froze to death? What motive would he possibly have?

As he landed on the snowbank surrounding the lake he figured he might as well know the boys name, in case they crossed paths again.

"I am Christian Winters. Frozen Angel of these lands." He stated with a bow, spreading his wings wide as he did so.

"And might I have the honor of learning your name?"

A shadow darts before the angel and elf in the water before quickly disappearing beneath the ice.
If Christian looks under his foot he will sees a small wooden sign thats been knocked over, it reads: "Vorgar's Land" .
