Annabella was a bit offended at his "can't make a fire" comment. Being a woman of pride she couldn't let a comment like that slip. She watched as he set everything up and when he finally started the fire she decided to say something about it.

"You know, I actually CAN make a fire. I just thought I'd give you a chance to prove your manliness, but... I guess I'll just have to out man you from now on."

Annabelle gives a him a side glance and small smile while taking out the Barley soup, then starts getting it ready to be heated.

" Oh well than have the liberty of carrying my belongings, oh manly woman, Amazoness."

Kurei tosses Annabelle his adventurers bag which weighed about 100 pounds filled with food, a map, lunch box, pots and pans. And more importantly, high quality stone to sharpen his blade without scratching or damaging it.

"Just be careful not to lose anything"

"You're funny!"

Annabelle tosses the bag back to him with ease.

"I'm not here to carry your things. I'm here to help Kiru City"

Annabelle looks down at the fire Kurei made

"And your fire making skills are weak."

Annabelle removes one of the potions from her belt and pours it into the fire, which immediately springs to life with dancing flames.

"Now THAT'S a fire!" ~She takes the Barley soup and starts to heat it, with a small grin on her face.

Kurei laughs out loud at her reply
"I at least started a fire, all it takes is couple logs of wood to really get it going. Wasting your potions in the thickness of these woods was really pointless. Neat, but unnecessary."

Kurei sits over the fire and examines the Barley soup, he looks at into his bag and pulls out two bowls and spoons for the soup.
"Me too?"

Annabelle looks over at Kurei.

"The potion I used is specifically made for getting fire's going, ya know."

~She takes one of the bowls from Kurei's hand and begins pouring the soup into it.

"And yes, you too. Just behave yourself, mmkay?"

~Annabelle hands him the soup and takes the other bowl to pour some for herself, before sitting down besides Kurei to eat.

"Spoon please?"

"Yes" ~ he says while passing her the spoon

"Things here can get pretty cold, excuse me if i get close to you for warmth, cause these woods are definitely lacking it."

~Kurei moves closer to Annabelle and drapes his cloak around both of them just before placing the spoonful of soup between his lips.

"It's delicious! Never had this before, it's better than simple bread rolls. Thanks!"

Annabelle felt the warmth of Kurei's body. It made her head race and heart pound. Her face turned scarlet. She looked down at her soup trying to hide it and ate a spoonful.

"I-it's my specialty. I don't have much money but with what little I have I'm able to buy ingredients to make soup."

~Kurei smiles and continues eating his soup, as he finishes eating he grabs a sweet bread roll from his bag and breaks it in half, offering one to Annabelle
"It goes well with the soup, try dipping it in and taking a bite"

Annabelle accepts the bread and smiles.

"Thank you...that's very kind. "

She does as Kurei suggested and eats the soup dipped bread.

"Wow, you're right they DO go well together."

She pauses.

"I guess some things just go together. "

She continues eating the soup but after a couple of bites she notices Kurei has run out.

"There's still enough soup left for one more bowl. Would you like seconds? I don't mind at all."

he shakes his head~ "no thank you, a warriors gotta watch his figure if he has zero aptitude for magic. Fightings all i got so I gotta stay in shape!"

Kurei sits up and packs all of his belongings except for the bowl in Annabelles hands
"We ready to head back to the city?

Annabelle suddenly feels embarrassed. She collects her thoughts and stands up.

"Yes, o-ofcourse. And here's your bowl. Thanks."

~Annabelle then starts putting out the fire. She takes a glass bottle full of water from her belt and pours it on the flames.

"It's important to put out the fire before leaving. Anyways we can go now."

~She drinks some of the remaining water, blushes and quickly walks past Kurei.

~kurei places the bowl into his pack, and begins to take several paces to the the direction of the city.

"Once we reach the city, we'll split way and ill talk to the city guards to go and investigate the woods a bit more. It's too dangerous for normal travelers.

~He looks at Annabelle "Don't you agree?"

"Yes, for NORMAL travelers." She says without stopping to look at Kurei.

"But you'll find that I'm no normal traveler... I'm a warrior. You'll do well to remember that. I'm sure you're egar to split paths but don't go on assuming I'm weak, because that is one thing I am NOT."

~She looks directly into Kurei's eyes as she says "I am NOT" then continues walking.

"Depends what the average is, similar to Knights. The average Knight can probably kill 7 adventurers all by himself. If you find the toughest Knights, they can do whole lots more, ranging from 12-20."

Kurei continues pacing as he begins to see the gates of the city, he looks back at Annabelle and smiles at her.

"We're nearly there"

"You're a bit of a smart-ass ya know? I hope you don't take this the wrong way, but you are. You tend to correct me, even when it's not in your right. I respect it. But I just thought you should know. " ~She says playfully.

Kurei pokes Annabelle with the tip of his sheathed sword and continues walking as if it weren't him.
"You know, depsite you being clumsy, it's been nice meeting you, Annabelle Hart."

As Kurei stands before the city, beginning the first few steps towards the end of this miniature adventure. Once inside he faces his companion and says ~"Catch'ya some other time? If you don't die that it" ~he smirks

"I have a feeling we'll meet again. Don't worry, I won't be dying anytime soon." ~She smiles

Annabelle looks him up and down for a quick second before giving him a body tight hug, compressed enough so that she could feel his chest through his shirt. She kept her hand in the back of his neck, and the other around his back to keep the hug for a second, before she let go and walked in the opposite direction from him. But before dissappearing completely she turns back in his direction and shouts:

"Until next time...K-Kurei is it?" ~She laughs while she pretends not to remember his name. "Cya!"

Kurei looks at Annabelle completely confused by her spontaneous hug and hugged her in return.
As she left his arms he could do nothing more than smile at her

"Cya Annabelle! Good Luck!"
